Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered Codes (March 2026)
The Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered was released on March 3, 2026, for PS4/PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC. This version includes a modern HD touch-up, a new “floating” camera, and most importantly, a dedicated Cheat Menu that you can unlock.
How to Unlock the Cheat Menu
In the 2026 Remastered version, you no longer have to memorize complex button strings to get an advantage.
- The Official Way: Simply beat the game once on any difficulty. After the credits roll, a “Cheats” toggle will appear in the Options or Bonus menu.
- The Shortcut: If you want to use cheats on your first run, you can often unlock the menu early by entering the “Unlock All Bonus Material” code (see below) at the main menu.
Classic Input Codes (March 2026 Tested)
The developers (Crystal Dynamics and PlayEveryWare) kept the original “button combo” codes active for nostalgia. These must be entered while the game is paused.

Note: For Xbox Series X|S users, “Black” and “White” buttons from the original mapping typically correspond to the Right Bumper and Left Bumper, but since those are held to trigger the code, use the Menu or View buttons if the standard triggers don’t register.
Important: Trophies and Achievements
Using any of these codes (including the new Cheat Menu) will disable Trophies and Achievements for that save file. If you are going for the Platinum or 1000G, ensure you have a separate “clean” save file before experimenting.e game; they don’t require entering codes, but rather toggling “hotkeys” (like F1 or F2) while playing.
