In BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW, progress often depends on solving environmental puzzles and finding hidden keypads. Like many modern atmospheric horror titles, it avoids traditional “redeemable codes” in favor of in-game security codes and collectibles that unlock the game’s various endings and achievements.
BrokenLore: Unfollow Hidden Key Keypad & Puzzle Codes
While many codes in the game are randomized or found within nearby notes, certain story-critical codes are fixed for all players:
- Chapter 1 (Home Sweet Home): The combination for the initial lockers and keypads is A-N-N-E (translated to numbers on some pads as 2663).
- Chapter 4 (Hospital Shift) Door Code: Input 5317 into the keypad to advance. This code is found on Anne’s medical record within the level.
- Chapter 5 (Night at the Pool): When prompted by the TV sequence, the required phrase/code is Pizza Express.
- The “ANNE” Combination: In Chapter 1, the name A-N-N-E serves as the primary combination for the initial locker/door puzzles.
BrokenLore: Unfollow Unlockable Content & Collectibles
To achieve a “100% Completion” or unlock the game’s secret endings, you must track down several types of hidden items:
- Mini Anne Dolls: There are roughly a dozen hidden throughout the chapters. Collecting your first unlocks the “First Doll” achievement, while finding all of them grants “Doll Collector.”
- CDs / Vinyls: These collectibles are hidden in off-the-beaten-path areas (like the dry store in Chapter 1 or the basketball arena kitchen in Chapter 2). Finding the full set unlocks the “Playlist Complete” achievement.
- Elysium Symbols: These are glowing markings hidden behind furniture or in vents. Finding every symbol is required for the “Finder of Truth” achievement.
BrokenLore: Unfollow Achievement Shortcuts
- Speed Runner: Complete the full game in under 3 hours. This is best done on a second playthrough after you have memorized the puzzle solutions.
- Untouchable: Finish the entire story without dying once. If you are about to be caught by a monster like the Hyakume, you can quickly Restart the Chapter from the pause menu to keep your death counter at zero.
- Good vs. Bad Ending: Your final interaction in the “Belly of the Beast” (Chapter 7) dictates your ending. Choosing to Forgive or Revenge leads to the Good and Bad endings, respectively.
BrokenLore: Unfollow Technical Console Commands (PC Only)
The game does not have a public cheat menu. However, if you are experiencing performance issues (which can be common in the surreal, high-fidelity environments of Chapters 5 and 6), you can use these launch options or console entries:
-dx11or-dx12: Add these to your Steam Launch Options to force a specific DirectX version if the game is crashing.showfps: Toggle the frame rate counter to check performance during the “Retro Nightmare” sequence.
